I did this a lot with Wavpack compressed versions of the files.
Simply point it to the OGG version of the first file it wants from you, and it will use the OGG version for all the other files. REaper will complain when you load the new copy of the project. Place your OGG files along the new copy of the project file or somewhere in their own directory. Rename the original project folder slightly so Reaper won't find it.
